	Nissan Induction Control System (NICS), boosts torque at all speeds by the use of a variable induction valve. At low speeds, the valve closes, creating a long intake port which increases intake efficiency, increasing torque. At high speeds, the valve opens, creating a short intake port that better suits the efficiency of air intake at speed, increasing torque for fast highway cruising.
