4x4 Mode switch
	The STX is an efficient street vehicle and offers a smooth ride, but we all know there are times when you'll want to get your feet dirty. Fortunately, the STX is also a full-fledged 4x4. The STX features a rotary switch on the center dashboard, allowing the driver to set the appropriate drive method depending on conditions. The “2WD" setting is designed for dry street conditions and city driving, sending power to the rear wheels only. The “4WD" locks the transfer ratio 50/50 between the rear and front wheels and is perfect for off-roading in mud and snow. The “4Lo" is for serious off-road driving only. It selects the best transfer ratio for maximum traction and should be used when driving in thick mud or sand, or when getting yourself out of a slippery ditch.
